The engine bay will be very clean Find out the common reason for oil leaks on the 6.7l power stroke and how to prevent them at rdi power. I would check the vacuum pump first though super common issue on the 6.7l

The bolts come loose and oil leaks from the engine behind the pump
Usually replace the gasket and get new bolts.
I took it in and it turns out to be the upper oil pan Looked on youtube to see what was involved in this operation and was surprised at how involved it is Glad it?s covered under warranty My question is how common.
My 6.7 powerstroke has developed a small leak where the oil filter threads in at The leak is very small and will run down to the bottom of the filter Only enough oil to cover the tip of your finger but i just changed the oil and new filter does the same thing When your diesel truck is leaking oil, it's frustrating
