A nerdish boy buys a strange car with an evil mind of its own and his nature starts to change to reflect it. The car is another inspiration from stephen king, the horror novelist who specializes in thrillers about everyday objects. Nerdy high schooler arnie cunningham falls for christine, a rusty 1958 plymouth fury, and becomes obsessed with restoring the classic automobile to her former glory.
