Recently picked up a 2012 cjaa jetta that's throwing codes related to a plugged dpf
Naturally i'll just be deleting it entirely and having it tuned
However i wanted to get some opinions about the options i have for an egr delete From my understanding the 4 options are a Ok folks, this is a new one for me Rear brake pads that only last 30k miles or less????
When i was switching snow tires to my son's '24 jetta last week (that he has owned since new in oct '23), i noticed the pads were almost an 1/8 above wear limit on passenger side (forgot to look at driver side, did that one first) The rotor was nice and smooth with just a very slight lip on edge My mk6 has the original suspension @ 170k miles on the odo It was lowered by the po and the ride is harsh with what seems to be too little dampening in the rear
Looking @ several vendor locations, i see that suspension sets are a bit more limited with this solid beam axle that i'm used to.
