I am having a hard time finding any options other than the couple that kimber offers For the range i typically use winchester nato 124 gr ammo Would a standard 1911 rail holster probably work
Niya and Kimber Lee do the splits : WrestlingGirlsLowBlow
Maybe a edc x9 rail holster
I am looking for an iwb.
Personally i’m not concerned about kimber’s mim parts or even the polymer msh I don’t have plastic msh because i opted to install units with the magazine well on my custom and ultra The previous owner had installed a matching pattern msh on the raptor but also provided the oem plastic one The unit on my custom was quite expensive at the time from ed brown because this was in the early.
Welcome to the forum from washington If you create an account you'll be able follow the weapon though the process I've put nearly 3000 rounds through my 2k11 stainless target 9mm and had no issues Kimber will listen carefully describe the issue and they'll get to the solution
Keep us informed about the progress.
For anyone pondering a kimber micro 9 and hesitant after reading all the negative forum comments on that platform, there's a very viable alternative in the same weight/size of pistol from sig, the excellent p938 It has better sights than the micro 9, front strap treatment, very good trigger and complete reliability. Kimber would be far better advised to delete barrel fluting, and focus on accuracy areas Barrel hood length and width fit to slide, bottom lug fit to slide stop, and muzzle area fit of barrel to slide
Slide to frame fit is okay, but not great Chamber throat areas should be considered as well Most 9mm's benefit from a throating reamer. Can anyone recommend a good sight removal tool for a kimber 1911
From what little information i’ve found it seems kimber sights are very tight and difficult to remove
I’m also unsure as to whether they remove left to right toward ejection port side or the other way I have a 2k11 stainless and the tactical bump on the grip safety is biting into my palm The upper edge is more pronounced than i would prefer, compared to my springfield prodigy or even my friend's black kimber 2k11 Does anyone know if there is a good replacement grip safety that would work.
Hey all, new to kimber, always been a fan I recently purchased two kds 9mm's, and a cds 9mm
