Almost every job i’ve gotten has been through indeed actually, i’ve also used facebook jobs and applying on company websites or asking in person. A lot of times, employers are not aware that by closing out their listing on the indeed platform without taking any further actions through the platform that every applicant gets the not selected by employer message Note that in addition to being able to see resumes/cover letter/applicant info through the indeed platform that the same info is emailed to the employer as well Any suggestions for job sites
Indeed is getting exhausting and without hearing much of anything back Just curious if there is a better avenue to search for jobs. Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format
An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones
Applying to these cloned jobs does absolutely nothing I graduate in may and was applying through linkedin and indeed and never once got an email back I started applying through my university's job board and got 3 interviews and a job offer within a month. Indeed can't rely on new jobs to bring users to their platform since they'd be dead overnight with so few new jobs on it
I'm not sure if they were doing it last year or not since the response rate was wild. Depending on the ats, indeed applications can be treated as a separate application that one you did on their website or whatever Additionally, the confirm your interest emails are indeed on a timer, but that is done without input from a recruiter or any of their internal tech. I’ve seen so many complaints about it
I made an indeed account over a year ago, but have hardly used it since then as i will instead use linkedin or just go directly to company websites to find jobs
I hear about certain convenient features about indeed, like being able to essentially “mass apply” to a number among roles at a time.
