I'd like to get my third ar sooner than later and would appreciate some assistance. The former le gun i picked up was a carbine length with a heavy barrel and 1 in 9 twist Seems like that was a 90s/early 2000s thing? I wasn't magdumping it, in fact i was shooting it relatively normally
However, after a few magazines the handguard was able to get to the point where it was noticeably hot Still able to hold it without getting burned though I've never seen my rifle get that hot before Alot of ar companies offer their rifles in 1/9 twist rates it's kind of hard finding one with a 1/7 besides colt
What are some good ars with a 1/9 twist rate
