They may have a few good folks there trying to sell you something I'm trying to put on a factory starter onto my 350, as my pos tilton gear reduction starter has taken it's final shit But their warranty is worthless, their customer service even worse, and their product shameful at best

It sat for about 8 months and has just been cranked up and run for any amount of time in the past 2 weeks I got it out today and let it run. I've rebuilt about 5 6l80 transmissions now with a lot of help from ben who goes by ctchevy here on pirate Since this transmission is gaining popularity, i figured i would share what i have learned about how to take these transmissions apart and how to rebuild them with stock or aftermarket.
I found a couple threads about remanufactured engines and 1 or 2 about transmissions, but nothing that really holds any clout
Here's what i'm dealing with My daily driver of about 5 years is on it's trans' last leg Reverse cut gears are used on some front axles Standard cut gears in a front differential will be driven on the coast side when you are going forward
Reverse cut gears in a front diff will be driven on the drive side when going forward which is a stronger setup So standard cut gears are stronger in the rear and reverse cut are stronger in the front The only reasons that they use standard. Been thinking about trying an auto this time around
Are the bell housings interchangeable as well
