What are you unpopular pole opinions The pole itself is in the easement but the support structure (metal wires covered with yellow plastic) is on our property, i assume the fence cannot run between the pole and the supports as the utility company needs a full access to them, is that correct? Whereas a phase to neutral load only has one phase to protect because neutral is at ground potential. I've got a stainless pole at home and use chrome at the studio I've only had my home pole a couple of months so it's still quite slippery, but i've noticed that my grip isn't as affected by hand sweat on my home pole as it is on the studio poles. I have quite a few black & decker tools with the interchangeable battery, but read some reviews that the b&d pole saw falls apart pretty quickly and the charge lasts only about 20 min under heavy use.
(out of warranty) for others that have a saw that quit working On the pole joint, i checked the large terminals, 19v with the trigger pulled 1 small terminal has continuity with the battery connector (smaller battery id terminal) the other small terminal had no continuity It's typically the vaulter fault if they are using a pole below their weight class
Also the age of the pole and its ware can affect it breaking
At least in high school pole vault, if you break the pole you just go again with a different one
