Hey so i want to pick up sylas and im curious what are his biggest counters and would be curious what to play if getting counterpicked,so who would… You just stand inside of your minions and q him point blank Sylas is a counter pick champion, and so generally can't be blind picked easily as he will be counterpicked himself with bad ultimates or champions that could potentially nullify his kit such as cassiopea.

Pantheon, heimerdinger, cassiopeia, akshan, galio
Also kassadin, but we all know that his laning phase sucks, so it’s a bit different Idk for jungle, but definitely junglers that can easily invade early Sylas’ clear is definitely not the best. Any match up that wins through extended fights and have the means to prolong a fights like a cc ability or two is sylas counters
Some you cant even play the game past lv 3 if you disrespect them early on and die to them Early to mid game, if you don't chunk the brusier to 20% hp or lower. Now this is obviously not coming from a sylas main and i feel like i am infiltrating some secret league and asking for their weaknesses when doing so but i thought the best place to ask for advice is from your enemy, right Either way, i just wanted to know how to counter sylas exactly.
Ive heard that sylas is a champ you more so pick as a counter rather than a blind pick
And does otping him maybe make him abit better… Sylas, morde, illaoi, rengar (w max+phaserush/grasp) Malphite has solid poke with q max+comet in lane, and he has suprising burst Champions that have sustain, and can survive burst do well into malphite.
In my opinion and experience sylas is also anivia favoured because of his high mana costs, and how squishy/easy itis to harass him out of lane early
