Ive never used or eaten one but now this ham is going to be christmas dinner for some family members that are new to me and i don't want to look like a complete idiot I like my ham warm even if they do not recommened not heating it for the best flavor On the pamphlet that came with the ham, the honeybaked people cop out.

I just ordered a ham to take to my in laws for thanksgiving and the website says to serve it cold or room temperature

Are they worth the money I've never had a honeybaked ham, so don't know about that one I really like the glaze that comes with it. I don't get the appeal
I don't think they are any better than your basic supermarket ham if you glaze it yourself
And baking a ham has to be one of the simplest meals one can make And the honey baked hams are much, much more expensive I've tried all the spiral cuts at the grocery store over the years and they don't compare to a heavenly ham. Honey baked ham used to be a reasonably price product and very popular for various holidays Frankly, for what they now cost at around $10/lb, you can get many other grocery store brands that are just at good at a fraction of that price Probably the reason there are fewer honey baked stores now, they just priced themselves out of the market.
