About the 6 speed transmission 6f24, also called powertech 6f24, or hyundai/kia a6mf1/a6mf2, avaliable in jeep patriots models 2014 and up The paperwork said 6 speed automatic but i’ve read a lot dealers put that for cvts too. The main topic is what kind of fluid it use.

Which transmission do you have, is it the manual or automatic (cvt) If it's the cvt, the dealer should have also replaced both filters when the fluid was changed If the cooler filter (small paper filter, accessed from under the battery tray) was never replaced, it may be contributing to the problem and causing what is often called judder. I have a 2013 compass sport with the 2.4 and a cvt transmission with 4wd
I can’t figure out for the life of me if it has this “off road crawl ratio” or not I’m looking for a replacement trans for it Also it has the auto stick if that helps. He actually said it shows 6 speed automatic transmission, but it is really a cvt

If it was a long hill it might do it again Kind of a noob question, but how do i find out which transmission is in my patriot I haven’t put much initiative into it. Is there another way that’s easier
