It appears as though hustler mowers incorrect fuel gauge readings are directly connected to the mowers fuel tanks fuel sending unit I have had a used 2008 hustler super z for 1.5 years now with ~300 hours on it (31hp kaw) Since i have had it i have been unable to keep a battery charged I measured ~24v coming from stator and ~0.1 to 0.2 ohms at stator connectors.
Also no short to ground from either connector
