Hawa m1500 superlite 308 win 20 bbl walnut i bought it because it is the least expensive and lightest.308 you can buy new that has a wood stock (just not a fan of plastic) I have a couple 300 wby rifles, and was considering trying something in the 338 or 375 flavors I'm finding it super sensitive to heat and if the barrel isn't allowed to cool off between every.

Wondering what folks chron'd results are with h4350 and ~ 140s, please include bbl length
I have a.308 blr with 18.5 bbl
I get ~2600 with 165gr ab's haven't shot anything past 300yd with it yet but my ballistic table suggests my loads should have adequate velocity for expansion to 500yd The.308 is a very efficient cartridge That is out of the 22 inch barrel I know if i went with a 24 inch barrel rifle i could get about 100 fps more
I'd run a 24 bbl minimum if you're looking for max fps 1:8 twist will be plenty, there are a few new bullets out that have great bc that require 1:7.5 but they're heavy and that small case would probably have better ballistics shooting a bit lighter bullets faster. This load also proved to shoot very well as. I'm thinking about upgrading to a beretta 400 and a 26bbl is an option the 28 isn't unmanageable, and if you're mostly using it for clays it might be the better choice
For hunting and 3 gun i find it longer than i'd like
It's a bit unwieldy in a layout or turkey blind, and definitely not the right choice for 3 gun. I have a finnlite with a 20.5 bbl that shoots the 120 ttsx at 3200fps The small 7mm bullets would have a better bc then the 25 cal bullets I believe the 115 gr tsx in 25 cal has a higher bc then either of the lighter ttsx 7mm's that you.
I'm a big fan of pws ar platform rifles and came across this Seems like a decent deal from a great company, but i don't know a lot about the chassis rifle world
