I am having a hard time finding any options other than the couple that kimber offers One is the amethyst, the other is sapphire. Would a standard 1911 rail holster probably work

Maybe a edc x9 rail holster
I am looking for an iwb.
Bought a new kds9c new in wilkesboro nc on 08/08/24 Took it home and immediately attempting to throw rounds through it only to discover that it wouldn't feed First hint was racking round into chamber failed then multiple fail to feeds while firing While thinking it was just tight tolerance.
My third kimber revolver, purchased and registered in late july '24, is at a local gunsmith shop after the diagnosis Broken firing pin and spring The 2 da snubbie quickly became my favorite for cc My range log shows over 50 cylinders (about 300 rounds) fired as i tried as many kinds of.
Both of us using a kimber plate
I did have a different plate, mine with the suppressor height rear sights but was kimber For me it feels like the eps is the perfect match for the cds9. Kimber would be far better advised to delete barrel fluting, and focus on accuracy areas Barrel hood length and width fit to slide, bottom lug fit to slide stop, and muzzle area fit of barrel to slide
Slide to frame fit is okay, but not great Chamber throat areas should be considered as well Most 9mm's benefit from a throating reamer. Can anyone recommend a good sight removal tool for a kimber 1911
From what little information i’ve found it seems kimber sights are very tight and difficult to remove
I’m also unsure as to whether they remove left to right toward ejection port side or the other way I've got 3 kimber ultra carry ii's that i've had for about 8 years They functioned well, the occasional (rare) malfunction, but not enough to cause me too much concern My wife became interested in shooting (girls with guns) and so i bought her two kimber ultra carry's on the same day
