It was leaking pretty bad, so got a new one from dealership, when i went to replace it the old one pulled right out, they stripped the cast aluminum threads so im screwed for a bit. I've looked all over the engine to see where it's coming from and i've narrowed it down to the driver side near the front of the engine Turbocharger oil lines both turbo supply and drain lines love to leak on the 6.0 powerstroke

After many years of searching for the right excursion 6.0 i finally purchased one It had a few issues that needed to be addressed as any used powerstroke out there The man i bought truck from said one if the turbo oil lines was leaking under load I saw a few drips on the ground over last.
My thanks go out for all of the knowledgeable poster's on this site Ya'll have gotten me thru many of the issues that i have repaired on my 6.0 This is the first time that i have needed advice that was not already posted The oil filter housing and secondary diesel filter does unbolt from the oil cooler just below the filter housing as one unit
It could also be a bad oil cooler gasket
Normally when the truck has a leak that appears to be the main seal it's the icp sensor which is located under the turbo. Got an 05' excursion with a 6l diesel that is leaking oil faster than you can pour it in
