Pecan comes from a kickapoo word for nut that has a similar pronunciation that you put down.
So these pellets are 100% pecan shells and they really impressed me By far the smokiest and pungent smelling pellets i’ve ever used I love pecan, but it is a fast burning wood (at least in my experience) I’ll usually thrown in oak and pecan on my longer smokes
