I just feel really stupid when i see how far off the median i am most of the time! I have attached a screenshot to illustrate what the script does I seek your help in solving this difficult logic puzzle

I came here, because of not having access to mobile phone right now, when i played app with similar logic puzzles, but even the easiest here, are not that easy, especially that i'm not native english speaker I'm young adult, i don't even have 25 years old, but i feel stupid, when i see other's solving time. Which type of logic issue is this
For example, in my puzzle the clue is of the oil crew team and the team that finished third, one uses orange paintballs and the other uses red paintballs the hint says if oil crew does not equal first, and orange and red can only be paired with either oil crew or third, then orange cannot be equal to first. Therefore, in either scenario orange paintball cannot be the first position, hence cross out first from the orange row/column Same logic applies to the red paintball, and we can cross out first position from the red paintball row/column Hope this helps and makes it clear
Can anyone provide strategies or tips that can help me solve the logic puzzles
I read through the clues and mark the obvious information first Then i usually have a few clues left that i'm not sure what to do with They don't help me eliminate anything in the puzzle and then i get stuck It's been a while since i solved any logic puzzles, so when i logged on today i started with the easiest puzzles
In about thirty minutes, i got a time of 30 second on 7 different puzzles, all of which matched the record time for that puzzle I didn't time any of my puzzles using any other method, but some "felt" Is there some guidebook or available list of general techniques, tips that people have found useful and apply to these puzzles?
