A plus sign (+) means water is flowing through the meter
If you suspect you have a leak, take the following steps Write down the meter reading Turn off all the water fixtures and appliances On the invensys meter, the red pointer is what is referred to as the leak indicator
On the sensus ice meter, the red circle with black marker line is the leak indicator In most instances, the leak indicators will move in a clockwise motion when water is being used. One full revolution is equal to ten gallons of water Leak indicators iperl a plus sign (+) within the circle below the read indicates water is being used
If you see the plus sign and you are not using water it may indicate a leak in your plumbing system
Sensus the black triangle in the center is the leak detector (low flow indicator). On the left side of the meter there is a tab, pulling up on the tab will allow you to access the digital reading Sensus iperl meters are capable of reading down to the 1/100th of a gallon making it easy to determine if a leak is occurring in your home Positive flow is indicated on the meter by a (+) symbol located left of “gal”.
