Satc in particular wasn’t known for having somber episodes or dealing with anything political so i don’t think it would have been a good idea for the writers to force an episode or two relating to 9/11 in there On september 11, sex and the city had just finished editing its fourth season, six episodes of which were slated to start in january The episode that aired after 9/11 was the season 4 finale
